We are seeking a Bird Feeding Specialist with great retail and customer service skills to work 20-25 hours per week. Working at our locally-owned Wild Birds Unlimited store is an opportunity to learn about the wild birds and nature that surround us. In turn, you will be able to share that knowledge and the joy of backyard bird feeding with our friendly customers!

Job Requirements:
-Previous retail experience preferred
-Great communication and customer service skills
-Interest in nature and enthusiasm for helping people learn about backyard birds
-Attention to detail, positive attitude and willingness to continually learn and improve
-Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as trained
-Ability to learn and accurately operate our computerized point-of-sale cashier system
-Ability to bend, lift, climb stairs and ladders, and lift and stack 20-lb. seed bags
-Ability to lift and carry shopping bags and seed bags (20-40 lbs) to customer vehicles
-Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and spend extended periods of time (8 hrs) on your feet
-Availability on weekdays, weekends and days leading up to and following major holidays
-Well-groomed and neat appearance
